Overview of the Position

The Strategic Finance Partner plays a pivotal role in fostering the financial partnership with senior budget-holders and other stakeholders within their designated portfolio, as part of the newly established finance business partnering team. This team is dedicated to delivering professional financial and business advisory services to UCL Eastman Dental Institute.

The Strategic Finance Partner will cultivate partnerships and uphold robust relationships with senior management and their teams. This role requires leading financial and resource-related matters; influencing strategic decision-making; enhancing the comprehension of business performance; aiding in the development of business strategies; providing analytical insights on business opportunities; and presenting options and scenarios for informed business decisions.

Important Note: This position will be offered on a secondment basis, with a minimum duration of six months.

Candidate Profile

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

- A fully accredited accountancy qualification (CCAB) with proof of current technical expertise
- Experience in a Business Partnering capacity within a multifaceted organization
- Proven negotiation, relationship management, and conflict resolution skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, ensuring clarity in conveying messages, ideas, and facts
- Experience in delivering financial analysis and generating reports for non-financial personnel, demonstrating measurable outcomes
