Position Overview
As part of our Apprentice intake, we are seeking a Mechanical Apprentice to join our team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to embark on a career in the engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities
In this apprenticeship, you will collaborate with seasoned engineers, assisting in mechanical installations, repairs, and maintenance across various client locations. You will benefit from hands-on training and mentorship to enhance your skills and knowledge in mechanical engineering.
- Support mechanical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Learn to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
Candidate Requirements
- A strong interest in mechanical engineering.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Able to follow instructions and work collaboratively.
- Good communication abilities.
- Reliable and punctual.
- GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science.
- Must be 18 years or older due to the nature of the work.
- A full UK driving license and personal vehicle are necessary for site visits.
Desirable Qualifications
- Previous experience or education related to engineering.
- Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in mechanical work.
