Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Administration Support Specialist to join our Executive Support team at Walsall Housing Group. As an Apprentice Business Operations Coordinator, you will provide high levels of administrative support to our business and colleagues while completing a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as the initial point of contact for colleagues, customers, partners, and the general public, fostering good relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure accurate file management, reporting, and accounts of information using our IT systems and databases.
  • Support the team with all administrative activities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist in reviewing working practices on a regular basis to ensure continuous improvement and a high level of service to our customers.

Requirements

  • A commitment to undertaking a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive attitude that demonstrates self-motivation and accountability.
  • The ability to work productively and achieve high standards of customer service while meeting deadlines.
  • The ability to use own initiative, managing own time and priorities.
  • The aptitude to be flexible and responsive to allow a wide range of skills to be developed during the apprenticeship.
  • Good IT skills, including the ability to confidently use all Microsoft Office applications and confidently input, interpret, and analyze data.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with internal colleagues and external organizations/agencies to ensure individual customer needs are met.
