Job Description:

Job Title: Sales Manager in Retail

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager in Retail to lead our team of Sales Associates in achieving sales, customer service, and operational targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, coaching, and business management skills gained in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach a high-performing team of Sales Associates to achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Develop and execute business plans to recruit and retain customers through strategic targeting, impactful in-store events, and exceptional customer relationship management.
  • Manage inventory and facilities, including cash reconciliation and point-of-sale software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and improve customer experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Proven retail management experience, preferably in cosmetics.
  • Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
  • Previous business planning experience, including setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis, and staff scheduling.
  • Previous retail operations experience, including inventory and facilities management and cash reconciliation.
  • Proven track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Experience of creating and executing in-store events.
  • Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
