Payroll Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at CE Back Office, a leading consultancy specialising in client-side support for HR and payroll transformations. We work with global organisations across multiple industries, sectors, and technologies to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage payroll inbox and respond to queries from HR, Managers, Employees, and Third-Party Suppliers.
- Prepare payroll imports and changes on time and upload them to the payroll system.
- Review payroll data, including manual checks, NMW compliance, and prepare sign-off reports.
- Prepare and upload third-party reports.
- Ensure payroll compliance.
- Complete annual payroll tasks, including year-end processing, P11D submissions, and PSA reporting.
- Generate reports as required.
- Recognise and suggest ideas for clients to support their staff or business.
- Strong mathematics skills and ability to carry out manual payroll calculations.
- Ability to run manual payroll calculations, including tax, NIC, student loans, and pension deductions.
- Ability to process payroll from end to end, including year-end procedures.
- Ability to use Excel, including formulas, v-look-ups, and pivot tables.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ideal candidate holds a relevant payroll qualification.
- Experience of IRIS Payroll Professional is an advantage, but not essential.
