Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery on the production line, ensuring due diligence and a right-first-time approach. Your duties will include:
- Operating Machinery: You will be responsible for operating the machines in line with related safety and quality procedures.
- Monitoring Production: You will monitor production to help attain KPIs for productivity and efficiency.
- Anomaly Reporting: You will assess and report any anomalies or issues that arise during production.
- Workflow Organization: You will organize workflow on the line to support daily production targets.
- Team Collaboration: You will work as part of a team to attain safety and performance KPIs.
- Machinery Familiarization: You will be willing to learn several machinery roles to be part of a multi-skilled team.
- Physical Demands: This role will entail a minimum of 10KG lifting.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience working in a food factory as a Machine Operator.
- Language and Math Skills: A good level of English and math skills.
- Health and Safety Knowledge: A basic understanding of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene.
- Independence: The ability to work unsupervised.
