Machine Operative Role

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operative to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a Machine Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate machines in line with safety and quality procedures to ensure efficient production.
  • Production Monitoring: Monitor production to achieve KPIs for productivity and efficiency, identifying and reporting any anomalies or issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to attain safety and performance KPIs, supporting daily production targets and ensuring the team is working to their maximum potential.
  • Machinery Maintenance: Organize workflow on the line to support daily production targets, ensuring machinery is working consistently and correctly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Willing to learn several machinery roles to be part of a multi-skilled team, contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working in a food factory as a Machine Operative.
  • English and Maths: Good level of English and Maths skills.
  • Health and Safety: Basic understanding of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene procedures.
  • Independence: Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
