CV-Library is seeking a highly skilled Medicinal Chemist to join our team at our West London site on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee compound management and quality control analysis across multiple projects, ensuring seamless execution and data integrity.
  2. Manage and analyze chemical and biological data to support ongoing synthesis and understanding of structure-activity relationships (SAR).
  3. Coordinate compound synthesis and assay scheduling across multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  4. Contribute to the synthesis of novel compounds with potential to become pre-clinical candidates, leveraging expertise in synthetic chemistry techniques.
  5. Collaborate with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) to support project objectives and ensure data quality.
  6. Participate in team meetings and present data to colleagues and management, fostering a culture of open communication and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • PhD/MSc in Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a related field, with relevant industry experience.
  • Strong synthetic chemistry skills and experience with various synthetic techniques, including chromatography and spectroscopy.
  • Proficiency in chemistry/biology data handling systems, such as CDD or Dotmatics.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
