QC Scientist Job Description

At S3 Science, we're seeking a highly skilled QC Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our quality control team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our gene therapy products meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform testing of gene therapy products in accordance with product specifications and production schedules.
  • Support environmental monitoring and ensure all laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained.
  • Document out-of-specifications, non-conformances, and investigations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in developing and updating SOPs, maintain GMP compliance, and support internal/external audits.
  • Ensure timely and GMP-compliant training, while also supporting the training of colleagues.
  • Uphold our Quality Management System, maintaining data integrity and document control.
  • Support any external or internal audits where required.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Human Health, Sciences, or equivalent relevant experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of GMP environments and quality control within pharmaceuticals, biologics, or similar industries.

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual with strong problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office. If you're motivated and ready to make a difference in the field of gene therapy, we want to hear from you.
