About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Membership Manager to oversee all aspects of membership for our trade association and academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for renewals, new member recruitment, and record maintenance, as well as managing financial tasks and coordinating with our management accountants and auditors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage membership renewals and new member recruitment
- Maintain accurate records and databases
- Coordinate with management accountants and auditors
- Organize internal meetings and track team progress
- Handle member inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Research potential new members and support events
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High level of attention to detail
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in a membership management role, ideally within a trade association or similar organization
- Experience in event management, including organizing small member events and supporting larger annual member events
- Some understanding of online accountancy packages, especially Xero
- Knowledge of data protection regulations and best practices
