Design Coordinator / Design Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Coordinator / Design Manager to join our team at Breakthrough Consulting Limited. As a key member of our Preconstruction team, you will play a crucial role in delivering successful projects from tender to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Preconstruction team to develop and manage project tenders
  • Work closely with the delivery team to identify areas of opportunity and risk, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Coordinate meetings with clients and the supply chain to develop robust designs that meet project requirements
  • Work with the QS and site manager to ensure projects are delivered profitably and to the required standards
  • Manage the design process, ensuring records are maintained and project information is up-to-date
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working for a contractor on projects up to £50M
  • Experience working on new build and refurbishment projects
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a design or construction role
  • Passion for construction and a willingness to learn and improve
