We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Breakthrough Consulting Limited. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Preconstruction team to develop tenders and proposals.
- Work closely with the design team to identify areas of opportunity and risk.
- Manage all commercial aspects of projects, including letting of packages, carrying out CVRs, authorizing payments to subcontractors, and final accounts.
This includes:
- Working with the buyer and site manager to deliver profitable projects on time, on budget, and snag-free.
- Managing the process to ensure records are maintained.
- Experience working for a contractor on projects up to £20M.
- Experience working on new build and refurbishment projects.
- Ability to perform own take-offs and remeasures.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- Passion for construction.
- Willingness to learn and improve.
- Market-leading salary with annual reviews.
- Profit share paid 11 out of 12 years, with the first £3,600 tax-free.
- Car allowance and mileage.
- 26 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday.
