Plant Yard Operations Manager

Cavendish Professionals is seeking a highly skilled Plant Yard Manager to oversee the efficient operation of our yard, ensuring seamless logistics and transportation management, plant maintenance, and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:- Overall Site Operations: Lead the yard team to achieve optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Logistics & Transportation Management: Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and plant movement with suppliers.
- Plant Maintenance & Inventory: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, manage procurement, distribution, and inventory control of consumables and PPE.
- Fleet Management: Oversee the company vehicle fleet, ensuring maintenance, operation, and efficiency.
- Training & Development: Manage in-house training courses and collaborate with the IT department to enhance the plant tracking system.
- Growth & Development: Partner with senior management to develop and expand the Plant Department.
- Team Support: Work closely with the Diamond Drilling Contracts Manager to ensure team access to equipment and replenish core drilling consumables.
- Professional Development: Attend senior management meetings to stay informed and contribute strategic insights.
- Workplace Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance the comfort and functionality of the Plant Yard office space.
