We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Advisor to join our team at Groundwork North East & Cumbria. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to improve their employment prospects and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with programme participants on a 1:1 basis to understand and meet their individual needs.
  • Develop and implement personal action plans to support participants in achieving their employment goals.
  • Work closely with the local community and employers to identify employment opportunities and support referrals onto the programme.
  • Enable participants to develop valuable work-based skills and gain knowledge.
  • Provide supportive and understanding guidance to participants, addressing any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to different situations.
  • Confidence in engaging and motivating individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work in a busy team environment and meet programme performance targets.
