The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled electrical engineer to join our team at our Manchester office to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions for high-profile building projects in the UK and internationally.

You will work across various sectors, including government, critical systems, healthcare, rail, workplace, and residential, and collaborate with colleagues from different disciplines to deliver technically excellent and profitable projects for public and private clients.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and take on greater responsibilities over time. We offer accredited professional development programs from CIBSE and IET to support your chartership goals.

Key Responsibilities

Design and coordinate electrical distribution and power generation systems, lighting, security systems, and other electrical infrastructure.

Produce low-energy design solutions and conduct site inspections and surveys to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Develop and detail design solutions, using software such as Amtech and Dialux, to meet client requirements.

Collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects on time and within budget, and use your initiative to overcome challenges and ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

Educated to degree level in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng or equivalent).

Relevant experience in a consultancy environment, with a proven ability to design and coordinate electrical systems.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.

A passion for creative and intuitive design, and a commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
