Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or graduate Band 5 Nurse to join the East London NHS Foundation Trust's Newham Home Treatment and Crisis Assessment Team. This dynamic community-based service provides urgent triage responses and comprehensive crisis assessments to adult service users living in the London Borough of Newham.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Triaging crisis line referrals and conducting in-depth crisis assessments
  • Formulating treatment and risk management plans with the support of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Providing short-term, intensive, safe, and effective home-based treatment as an alternative to acute adult in-patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse Part 3 and 13 (NMC) or Nurse trainee/graduate
  • Experience of making full psycho-social assessments and writing reports
  • Experience of working as part of a multi-professional team
  • Experience of working in a multi-racial inner city area
