Community Mental Health Nurse - Waltham Forest CAMHS

We are seeking a skilled Community Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Waltham Forest CAMHS. As a Community Mental Health Nurse, you will work with children and young people who are experiencing mental health challenges, learning disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed mental health assessments for young people, identifying and managing risk factors.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide evidence-based interventions.
  • Engage in regular clinical supervision and safeguarding supervision.
  • Maintain a caseload of young people, working in a time-limited and outcome-focused manner.

Requirements:
  • RMN or LD Post Registration Qualification to Degree level or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience of working therapeutically with children and young people and their families.
  • Ability to work in an agile way within the borough.
