HGV Technician Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Gregory Group. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and fault-finding issues with vehicles and trailers using the latest diagnostic equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Maintain vehicles and trailers in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to our fleet workshop office staff.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols and safe systems of work.
Requirements
- Qualified HGV Technician up to Level 3 or part-qualified up to Level 2.
- HGV Class 1 CE licence beneficial.
- 3 years previous experience required.
- Intuitive diagnostic skills and ability to work to deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
