The Yeovil facility is dedicated to Integrated Supply Chain operations, Engineering & Technology, and other essential support functions, focusing on advanced product lines like Environmental Control Systems, Life Support Systems, Hydraulic Systems, and Control & Data Systems.

Role Summary:
  • Perform internal and external grinding utilizing MDI (Manual Data Input) CNC machinery, as well as surface and thread grinding techniques.
  • Execute Operator Control of Quality (OCQ) to guarantee that assemblies adhere to stringent quality benchmarks.
  • Accurately interpret engineering schematics and drawings.
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Uphold a customer-centric approach in all operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Engineering Apprenticeship (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Knowledge of grinding tolerances and finishes aligned with Aerospace Standards.
  • Familiarity with honing and measurement tools.
  • Strong dedication to Health & Safety protocols.
  • Ability to thrive in a lean manufacturing environment and collaborate effectively with design and engineering teams.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety-critical operations within the Aerospace industry.
  • Competence in PC usage and adherence to Health & Safety practices.
  • Strong teamwork capabilities, adaptability, and proactive mindset.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Openness to further training as required.
Mandatory Requirements:

Successful candidates must undergo BPSS Screening, which includes verification of Legal Right to Work, Criminal Records Check, and Drug Screening.
