Senior Manager of Electric Vehicle Charging Operations

Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations and upkeep of Veolia's electric vehicle charging infrastructure across various locations
- Spearhead the transition of depot operations to electric
- Manage procurement, administration, and enhancement of back-office systems and service agreements for chargers
- Coordinate efforts of EVCI Operations Managers at major depots to ensure the electric fleet operates reliably
- Facilitate ongoing training for on-site operators and EVCI managers to promote independence and operational resilience
- Update business continuity plans as necessary
- Implement innovative solutions to optimize energy costs and reduce emissions for the electric fleet
- Engage with current and potential customers to showcase the effectiveness of Veolia's electric operations
As the primary contact for electric vehicle charging infrastructure and fleet operations, you will demonstrate leadership and independence, serving as the escalation point for significant issues.
Collaboration:
- Regularly interact with the Electrification team to provide insights on depot design improvements and contribute to feasibility studies for new electrification projects
- Partner with IT teams to develop reporting tools for internal and customer use, integrating third-party solutions as needed
Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication skills at all organizational levels, with a focus on feedback and staff training
- A degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred
- Experience in a similar role managing power equipment operations, particularly EV charging infrastructure
- Knowledge of power systems and electrical safety standards
- Previous client-facing experience
- Skills in contract negotiation and field services
- Project management experience
- Familiarity with data analytics is a strong advantage
