Position Overview:

We are in search of a dynamic and driven individual to become a part of our Talent Acquisition Team as a Senior Corporate Recruiter. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in identifying, engaging, and securing high-caliber talent for various government and commercial initiatives. This role is based in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute cold-calling, sourcing, and interviewing of candidates, particularly those with military clearance or government-related experience.
  • Leverage multiple Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Taleo), social media platforms, and job boards for effective candidate sourcing.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, maintaining a welcoming demeanor for in-person interactions.
  • Employ proactive strategies to source both active and passive candidates through online job boards, networking groups, advanced internet sourcing, employee referrals, and innovative sourcing techniques.
  • Efficiently manage multiple tasks, showcasing strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in processing candidates promptly.
  • Review candidate applications and resumes to assess security clearance status, salary expectations, and fundamental qualifications.
  • Conduct interviews via phone, Microsoft Teams, or other virtual platforms.
  • Format resume templates and actively seek candidates for current job openings and proposal opportunities.
  • Participate in hiring events, career fairs, information sessions, networking events, open houses, and other relevant activities as necessary.
  • Contribute to special projects and community initiatives as required.
  • Stay informed about changes in the job market at both local and national levels, recommending new recruitment strategies.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks to maintain recruiting and staffing databases.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn new tools and systems to support Celestar's overarching recruiting objectives.
  • Be open to travel up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in staffing and recruiting for government contract roles.
  • Proficient in utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems, social media, and job boards for candidate sourcing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with the MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Prior military experience is advantageous.
  • Proactive, well-organized, and self-directed with a strong attention to detail.
