Position Title: Senior Anaesthesia Consultant

Position Overview:

  • Deliver a versatile anaesthetic service across multiple surgical disciplines, including but not limited to general surgery, orthopaedics, and gynaecology.
  • Engage in on-call duties and provide coverage during staff absences, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Participate in clinical governance and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing quality within the department.
  • Involve yourself in educational and training programs for both postgraduate and undergraduate medical trainees.
  • Exhibit leadership capabilities to foster service innovation and improve patient outcomes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • FRCA or an equivalent professional credential
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise in Anaesthesia
  • Capability to administer emergency anaesthesia and provide obstetric anaesthesia support
