About the Role
A Local Council EHC Team is seeking a dedicated SEMH Educator to provide instruction in Mathematics and English to students who are unable to participate in traditional educational settings.

The ideal SEMH Educator will engage in one-on-one sessions with students facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges, including those experiencing school refusal due to emotional difficulties.

This role is designed to be long-term, ensuring stability for students and focusing on overcoming obstacles to their learning. Session lengths may vary from one to five hours per day, tailored to meet the individual needs of each student.


Key Requirements
The successful SEMH Educator will possess:
  • A recognized teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students holding Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • The capability to design and deliver engaging Mathematics and English lessons
  • A genuine passion for positively impacting the lives of young individuals
