English Teacher for SEMH Students

We are seeking an experienced English teacher to join our team at a therapeutic SEND school in Tameside. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering KS2, KS3, and KS4 English classes, as well as some PSHE lessons, to a small group of students with SEMH needs.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality English lessons to students with SEMH needs
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of the students
- Build positive relationships with students and provide a supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective education program
- Contribute to the development of the school's English curriculum and assessment strategies
- QTS Status or QTLS or an equivalent Further education teaching qualification
- Experience of teaching English to students with SEMH needs
- Ability to adapt to a therapeutic teaching approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
