Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Driver to join our team at DPD Group UK. As a key member of our delivery and collections team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely delivery of parcels to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading and Unloading Parcels: Assist with loading and unloading parcels at the depot and at customer locations.
  • Delivery and Collections: Deliver and collect parcels to and from customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that your vehicle is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues to your supervisor.
  • Adherence to Company Policies: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines and customer service standards.

Requirements

  • Valid 7.5T Licence: Hold a valid 7.5T licence and DQC (Driver Qualification Card) and CPC accreditation.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in your work and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to Lift and Carry: Be able to lift and carry parcels and other items as required.
