We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Psychologist to join our Mental Health team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with our community-based teams to develop and deliver innovative projects that promote mental health and wellbeing in our local communities.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with community-based teams to identify and build relationships with third sector organizations.
- Amplify the voices of those who are less well-served by mainstream, statutory services using community engagement models and co-production with organizations and individuals with lived experience.
- Join a collaborative of psychological professionals across East London working within a community psychology framework to build connections and provide support to clinicians working in this way in an NHS context.
- Post-graduate qualification in psychology or a psychological therapy accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- HCPC registered.
- Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients presenting with complex and enduring mental health problems in community and secondary care psychological services.
- Experience of multi-disciplinary team working.
- Experience of work in a multi-cultural setting, including working with interpreters.
