We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator to join our team at Teaching Vacancies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies to support students with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to ensure inclusive practices and provide additional support to students.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and support.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEND provision and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and developments in SEND and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Degree in Education or related field
  • National Award for SENDCo
  • Proven track record of improving learning and progress for students with SEND
  • Excellent knowledge of the curriculum and SEND Code of Practice
