We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume a pivotal role within our organization, The ONE Group Ltd. As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for spearheading our safety and quality management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective safety and quality management systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on health, safety, and quality matters, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, accident management, and audits to ensure the effectiveness of our safety systems.
- Lead a program of ongoing improvement, collaborating with directors and managers to drive operational excellence.
- Champion the adoption of a robust occupational health and safety management system, safeguarding all staff and visitors.
- Oversee the Safety Management Team, providing guidance on safety and quality management, and driving innovation to ensure our organization remains fit for the future.
- Manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective operational delivery.
- Develop, review, and maintain plans, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and preparedness for emergencies.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in occupational health and safety.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a strategic health and safety role within a high-risk environment.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on innovation, strategic thinking, and operational excellence.
- Ability to work proactively with senior management to implement a culture of continuous improvement.
- Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
Additional Information: This role may require occasional travel to support our global operations.
