About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant - Autism Specialist. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with autism to access personalized programs of study and achieve their individual aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children and young people with autism in accessing personalized programs of study
  • Work collaboratively with staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children and young people, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the well-being and safety of all students
Requirements
  • Enthusiasm and passion for working with children and young people with autism
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff and students
  • Commitment to promoting the positive development of children and young people
