Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Index Solutions Specialist to join our team at Legal & General Asset Management. As a key member of our Index Solutions team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of our custom indices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of LGIM's custom indices, including index holdings and key performance drivers, to effectively communicate with client relationship managers, distribution teams, and clients.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technical and specific client queries, leveraging specialists in the team as needed.
  • Develop and create standard presentations and RFP content to support client-specific queries and lead non-standard presentation and RFP production.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team, investment teams, and distribution teams to develop marketing materials for index funds and services.
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership relevant to the index proposition, working closely with the wider Asset Management team.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of up-to-date core product information, including external and internal collateral.
  • Effectively communicate complex analysis and sophisticated ideas in a concise and understandable manner, both externally and internally, to clients with varying levels of sophistication.
  • Stay up-to-date with current investment market trends and economic issues from an index and benchmark perspective.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in reviewing or evaluating index strategies, or experience in evaluating benchmarks, with the ability to present complex index data in a simple and readable format.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of how to evaluate an index.
  • Investment and financial market knowledge, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Strong VBA, Excel, and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of day-to-day work and collaborate with various parts of the index team.
