Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile engineer to join our team.

Client Background

Our client is a well-respected organization in the industry, known for its commitment to excellence. They are looking to enhance their team with a qualified candidate who possesses a diverse skill set.

Compensation Package

Salary: Approximately £52,000 plus overtime opportunities.

Shift Pattern: 3-shift rotation, averaging 40 hours per week.

Location: Cambridgeshire

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on all production and process equipment.
  • Execute tasks according to maintenance requisition requests.
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal production efficiency.
  • Participate in on-call duties as scheduled by the engineering team.
Qualifications and Experience

  • Proficient in maintenance systems, with experience in electronic maintenance management systems (CMMS) being advantageous.
  • Must be a qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Ideally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or good manufacturing practice (GMP) setting.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
