About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join our team at mbf. as an IFA Support Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly reputable Financial Planning organisation with offices across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with Wealth Planners and their clients, ensuring excellent client outcomes.
  • Administrative Support: Work closely with the Administration team, Para-Planning, and other internal teams to facilitate efficient and quality administration.
  • Client File Management: Ensure client files are accurate, up-to-date, and contain all relevant information and paperwork.
  • Review and Meeting Preparation: Assist with structured scheduling of reviews and preparation for meetings, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Post-Meeting Administration: Process Letters of Authority, submit business to various platforms and providers, and reconcile fees.
  • Business Development: Support Wealth Planners to seek out and nurture opportunities for new business, assisting with client research and on-boarding prospective new clients.
  • Referrals and Connections: Assist Wealth Planners to explore opportunities for referrals and professional connection introductions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain a basic level of industry knowledge through private reading and attending workshops.
Requirements
  • Essential: Minimum 6 months administrative experience in an IFA/Wealth environment.
  • Responsibility and Accountability: Proven ability to be proactive and intuitive in role.
  • Attention to Detail: Pride in work and strong attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
  • Training and Development: Willingness to undergo training and development to attain the diploma in financial planning.
Package
  • Salary: Up to £30,000.
  • Benefits: Excellent benefits including 11% Pension contribution, PMI, Group Life, Group Income Protection, study support, 40 days holiday (including bank holidays), and flexi-bens add-ons.
  • Work Environment: Full-time, office-based in central Manchester.
