Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is on the lookout for a skilled Finance Manager to enhance their financial operations and contribute to their ongoing growth.
Role Overview:
As the Finance Manager, you will be integral in overseeing internal financial processes, delivering timely financial insights to aid strategic decision-making, and implementing effective cost management strategies.
Key Details:
Location: Flexible working arrangements available.
Working Hours: Standard hours with early finish on Fridays.
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the monthly financial reporting package, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and funding statements.
- Conduct thorough variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and expense tracking.
- Maintain standard costing for both existing and new product lines.
- Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns and other tax-related documents.
- Support the preparation of both short-term and long-term budgets.
- Serve as the primary contact for auditors and assist with annual audits and tax calculations.
- Oversee stock control and conduct necessary investigations.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and manage depreciation schedules.
- Supervise inventory and stock management processes.
- Collaborate with the Group Financial Director on various projects and daily operations.
- Ensure robust financial controls are established and standardized procedures are followed.
- Prepare grant applications and liaise with insurance providers.
Qualifications:
- A recognized professional accounting qualification with relevant post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of stock and inventory management principles.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and related documentation.
- Excellent financial and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial software.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with both finance and non-finance personnel.
