Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounting reports, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and expense reporting to ensure accurate financial information.
  • Develop and implement financial processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost savings.
  • Manage the preparation and filing of VAT returns, Intrastat submissions, and annual returns.
  • Oversee stock control, inventory management, and maintain the fixed asset register.
  • Ensure high-quality financial controls are in place and standardise procedures across the business.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience.
  • Strong understanding of management accounting and financial reporting.
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience with multiple ERP systems.
  • Strong drive for continuous improvement and a track record of achieving results.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage with finance and non-finance staff at all levels.
  • Ability to challenge and influence key personnel for the benefit of the business.
