Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will deliver essential engineering support on-site to reduce downtime and enhance the operational availability of automated systems.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:

  • Perform both preventative and corrective maintenance on all automated systems.
  • Conduct planned and reactive repairs on material handling equipment, including conveyors and robotics.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
  • Respond promptly to automation faults to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Prioritize system issues to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Document maintenance activities using CMMS and relevant software.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations as a primary focus.
  • Assist in the installation and testing of system upgrades.
  • Maintain adequate spare parts inventory on-site.
  • Support team meetings and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A recognized engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience with automated material handling systems.
  • The ability to work at heights.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong health and safety knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A basic understanding of control systems.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
