Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Deputy Home Manager to join our esteemed client, a leading provider of exceptional care services in the East Lothian area.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care by promoting person-centered approaches and collaborating with residents and key workers to develop personalized care plans.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders in health and social care to ensure seamless coordination of support and services for residents.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and organizational best practices, upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.
  • Empower resident involvement by encouraging their participation in decision-making processes and ensuring access to relevant information and services.
  • Cultivate a positive and supportive environment for staff, residents, relatives, and visitors, fostering open communication and mutual respect.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure financial sustainability by maximizing income streams and effectively managing expenditures.
  • Lead and develop a skilled team of care professionals, overseeing recruitment, performance management, and training initiatives to meet the evolving needs of the service.
  • Provide effective leadership and management in the absence of the Home Manager, ensuring smooth operations and continuity of care.
  • Contribute to special projects and change initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse qualification with an active NMC Pin.
  • Previous experience in a nursing setting, coupled with strong operational management skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislative requirements and best practices in care provision.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with all stakeholders.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach, demonstrating genuine care and respect for residents' needs and well-being.
