Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist children exhibiting challenging behaviours within an educational framework.
  • Help implement effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Support educators in fostering a constructive learning atmosphere.
  • Encourage students in developing their social and emotional competencies.
  • Track and document student behaviour and academic progress.
Essential Qualifications:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Experience in working with children or young adults.
  • Familiarity with behaviour management techniques.
Educational Background:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Experience Required:

Prior experience in a role involving children or young adults.

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Comprehension of behaviour management techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to maintain composure in challenging scenarios.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certification.
  • Training in de-escalation methods.
Work Environment:
  • Engagement in an educational setting.
  • Full-time hours.
  • Temporary position.
  • May involve managing challenging behaviours.
