An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Vascular Access Specialist Nurse within the Tayside Renal Service. This pivotal position will primarily be based at Ninewells Hospital, with the requirement to travel across the NHS Tayside Renal service.
We are seeking candidates with substantial experience in a Renal service. The ideal applicant will excel in this specialized role, advocating for the significance of prompt and effective vascular access. A proven record of recent Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and educational qualifications at degree level or equivalent experience is essential for this position.

Applicants must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
Work hours: 22.2 hours per week.
NHS Scotland is transitioning to a reduced full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours, effective from April 2024, with no change in remuneration. This adjustment will also apply proportionately to part-time staff. The current job listing reflects these new working hours. However, due to varying service areas, you may temporarily be required to work an additional 30 minutes per week, for which you will be compensated until your service area adjusts its rosters or working patterns accordingly.
