We are excited to collaborate with our client, a prominent global organization in the private sector, who is seeking to fill the role of Employee Relations Specialist (on-site). This opportunity is offered as a temporary contract with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position.
The role is intended for immediate commencement on a full-time schedule. The hourly compensation is negotiable, with a fixed annual salary of £30,000 (pro rata and also negotiable).
The successful candidate will possess substantial employee relations expertise and will be expected to adapt quickly to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offering guidance and assistance to management and staff regarding employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, attendance management, and flexible working arrangements.
- Executing investigations, hearings, and appeals in accordance with the organization's established policies and procedures, ensuring equity and consistency throughout.
- Assisting in the implementation of the Absence Management policy by coaching line managers to execute necessary actions.
- Drafting and preparing correspondence, reports, and other documentation pertinent to employee relations cases.
- Assisting in the establishment of an Employee Relations database and monitoring trends and data to identify areas for enhancement, while providing recommendations to the People Relations Manager.
- Creating and delivering training sessions and coaching for managers and employees on various employee relations topics.
- Participating in the review and revision of employee relations policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Significant experience in Employee Relations is essential.
- Proficient in managing Employee Relations casework and investigations (low to medium risk).
- CIPD level 5 qualification is desirable.
