The Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our multi-disciplinary team in our Inpatient Unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families, working closely with our nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and monitor patients, providing care in accordance with individual care plans under the supervision of a Team Leader.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans, working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families, promoting a positive and compassionate care environment.
  • Participate in handovers and multidisciplinary team meetings, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies.
Working Arrangements

This is a fixed-term contract for 1 year, with the potential for day shifts following the fixed-term contract, subject to availability. The post will cover an alternating pattern of 3 nights and 4 nights a week, averaging 36.75 hours per week.
