Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Assistant to join our multi-disciplinary team in our Inpatient Unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing palliative care interventions to patients and their families, working closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Observe patients and provide care in accordance with management plans under the supervision of a Team Leader.
  • Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver palliative care interventions.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
About the Role

This is a fixed-term position for 1 year, with the potential for day shifts following the fixed-term contract, subject to availability. The role requires an alternating pattern of 3 nights and 4 nights a week, averaging 37.5 hours per week.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or working towards.Recent experience in a healthcare setting in general/community nursing.Ability to demonstrate good communication skills.Ability to work autonomously.Good record keeping skills.
