Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Major Recruitment Bristol. As a Warehouse Operative - Painted Accessories, you will be responsible for ensuring correct orders are unloaded into the correct bins, maintaining good manual handling of painted materials, and reporting any defects with painted items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload correct orders into correct bins
  • Maintain good manual handling of painted materials
  • Report any defects with painted items
  • Recommend improvements to increase efficiency and productivity to the Paint Line Supervisor
  • Ensure maximum productivity is maintained at all times in accordance with targets and KPIs
  • Report inadequate stocks of consumables, such as equipment, tools, and machines
  • Problem-solve and troubleshoot, reporting defects directly to the Accessory Paint Plant Supervisor
  • Suggest improvements to procedures and processes
  • Recommend areas of improvement, particularly in regards to efficiency, productivity, and safety to the Accessory Paint Plant Supervisor

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Basic problem-solving skills
