ESG Advisory Director

We are seeking an ambitious ESG Advisory expert with a track record of supporting clients' ESG goals to lead our growing ESG team. As the ESG Director of assurance & advisory, you will be responsible for delivering ESG assurance and advice to clients in a wide range of industry sectors, supporting their regulatory and commercial ESG obligations and ambitions.
Key Responsibilities- Stay up-to-date with changes to sustainability/ESG regulations and reporting requirements, serving as a subject matter expert across the firm.
- Originate and develop a pipeline of prospects, identifying new business opportunities and driving growth.
- Ensure the team's practices and service offerings are compliant with assurance standards, maintaining the highest level of quality.
- Partner with board-level executives on complex ESG issues, negotiating and influencing where required.
- Utilize your understanding of ESG and market insights on trends and technology to identify opportunities for client coverage and growth.
- Maintain the quality of engagements, focusing on improvement and feedback.
- Motivate and encourage the team, providing timely constructive feedback.
- Lead the ESG assurance team through an exciting period of growth and expansion.
- Experience leading non-audit assurance teams specializing in ESG.
- Experience designing and implementing non-audit assurance work programs.
- Comfortable delivering ESG advisory projects, including double materiality assessments, gap analysis, and maturity assessments.
- High level of familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and standards, including ISSB and CSRD.
- Ideal qualifications include ACA.
