You will oversee the execution of key projects and designated business areas, providing strategic guidance and monitoring progress in alignment with overarching vision and objectives. You will facilitate the long-term success of planning performance across specified sectors and contribute to broader organizational goals. You will assist the planning team in ensuring that projects and tenders are meticulously planned, scheduled, and monitored. Responsible for the creation, monitoring, analysis, and reporting of project plans. Proficiency in ASTA is essential. A clear understanding of planning control, governance, and reporting is required. Plan resource leveling to alleviate resource overloads, forecast future resource needs, and generate a cost analysis report against the budget. Ensure program integration, identify issues, and propose solutions. To excel in this role, you must be an effective communicator with a positive, passionate, and engaging demeanor. Manage scope change notices in accordance with contractual obligations (e.g., early warnings, PMIs, and compensation notices). Direct project teams to deliver safely, on time, to specified quality standards, at minimal cost, and to client satisfaction. Serve as the liaison between the client and other key stakeholders. Overall management of the project and program. Lead significant projects as the primary project manager, supported by senior project managers. Engage in non-project related tasks such as business reporting, bidding, resourcing, and other duties as assigned by the sector lead. Ensure that the highest health and safety standards are prioritized throughout all project phases.

You will assist senior management in negotiations, contract formulation, and other business development activities, ensuring due diligence is maintained. You will contribute to the long-term strategic development of a function or Business Unit (BU), fostering a sustainable business future. You will support your project team and foster an environment conducive to knowledge sharing and experience exchange. Required Qualifications:

Exceptional written communication skills, clear and concise. In-depth knowledge of scheduling management tools and software. Develop and maintain effective communication and collaborative relationships with clients and other project stakeholders (internal and external). Extensive experience utilizing planning techniques across various multi-disciplinary sectors.

Preferred Qualifications:

Membership in APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development. Significant experience in successfully planning projects and programs within the construction sector. Deep expertise in property or infrastructure project management. Strong commercial and financial insight. Leadership and management experience with large, diverse teams. Experience managing relationships with key senior stakeholders. Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will influence the projects you are involved in.
