The Resourcing Group is seeking a skilled Reinstatement Operative to join our team. As a critical member of our highways maintenance operations, you will play a key role in restoring and repairing road surfaces, footpaths, and verges following excavation work.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct reinstatement activities in compliance with company standards, health and safety regulations, and relevant industry codes of practice.
- Repair road surfaces, footpaths, and verges by accurately matching materials, textures, and colors to ensure a seamless integration with existing surfaces.
- Operate various tools and machinery, including pneumatic drills, compactors, and tarmac rollers, to complete reinstatement work efficiently and to the required standards.
- Prepare excavation areas by removing debris, compacting sub-layers, and applying appropriate layers of materials such as tarmac, asphalt, and concrete.
- Install, adjust, and repair ironwork, kerbs, and drainage systems as necessary.
- Assist in the identification of underground utilities and ensure the protection of existing services during reinstatement work.
