Job Title: Sales Engineer - Analytical Instrumentation
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at TRS Consulting Services Limited. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for selling laboratory-based instrumentation to a wide range of industries, including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, petro/chemical, and academia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of existing customers and generation of new accounts through prospecting, lead generation, and follow-up.
- Effective territory management with direct responsibility for sales projects and negotiations.
- Visiting customer sites on a regular basis to give sales presentations, perform instrument demonstrations, and train customers on the correct use of their equipment.
Requirements:
- At least two years' experience and demonstrable success in selling analytical instruments into a wide range of industries.
- Ability to effectively communicate with laboratory managers, PhD-level scientists, and technicians.
- Availability to travel throughout the defined territory, the UK, and occasional overseas visits for training and business meetings.
- Located in the South West of England with easy access to the main road network and holding a full UK driving license.
