About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to join our team at Lorien. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data visualisation dashboards and other data-oriented solutions that will impact the entire firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop end-to-end data visualisation solutions using Power BI, from conception to deployment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and align requirements to the firm's wider business objectives
  • Work with the IT function to collect and analyse data from current databases, ensuring secure, accurate and consistent reports
  • Design and implement a plan for Power BI governance and deployment
  • Provide mentoring and support to other team members and staff from different disciplines
  • Lead the direction of Power BI and data projects, acting as the go-to person for all things data and visualisation
Requirements
  • Proven track record of building SQL queries and performance monitoring
  • Experience working on data visualisation and dashboard development in Power BI
  • Specialist knowledge of DAX, Analysis Services, SSRS reporting, and SSIS
  • Exposure to SQL and a strong grasp of data architecture and design
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at any level
  • Data integration experience into a data warehouse
  • Power BI certification (and ideally, a SQL certification)
