Buyer (Seasonal) Surrey - Exciting Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Buyer to join our team at UK Mission Enterprise Ltd. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services to meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement and Sourcing: Continuously monitor office purchasing systems, locate and collect goods ordered by clients, and ensure timely delivery.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain working relationships with staff and managers in shops to secure better service and assistance with sourcing and ordering items.
- Cost Management: Ensure cost-effectiveness when buying in bulk and negotiate prices with suppliers.
- Order Fulfillment: Source items directly from shops to speed up the process of getting orders to clients, ideally on the same day.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Communication: Liaise with the Office Manager regarding any orders that cannot be fulfilled and communicate with clients regarding order status.
- Sample Procurement: Visit multiple stores to source samples of items, take pictures, and send them to the Office Manager for client approval and purchase.
- Event Planning: Assist with planning and purchasing for children's entertainment areas, working with the Children's Entertainment Coordinator.
- Administrative Tasks: Collect receipts, visit relevant stores to obtain VAT claim forms, fill them in correctly, and pass them on for signatures.
- Shipping and Receiving: Receive deliveries, ensure they are correct, pack items with care, and organize shipping to clients.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, colleagues, and external providers, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Previous Experience: Previous office administration experience, particularly in processing invoices and dealing with stock control.
- Technical Skills: Strong IT skills, including high competency with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the internet.
- Personal Attributes: Highly conscientious, strong time management and organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team and unsupervised.
