**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buyer to join our team in Surrey. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for procuring goods and services for our clients, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage office purchasing systems to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.
  • Visit shops and establish relationships with staff and managers to source goods and services.
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness in purchasing decisions, particularly when buying in bulk.
  • Source items directly from shops to speed up the process of getting orders to clients.
  • Liaise with the Office Manager to resolve any issues with orders.
  • Assist with planning and purchasing for children's entertainment areas, working with the Children's Entertainment Coordinator.
  • Collect receipts and visit relevant stores to obtain VAT claim forms on behalf of clients.
  • Ensure forms are completed correctly and submitted for signatures.
  • Copy completed VAT forms and store them for records, then send them to relevant companies for refunds.
  • Receive deliveries and ensure they are correct.
  • Pack and organize shipping of items to clients.
  • Identify and organize the safe packing of hazardous materials.
  • Assist with restaurant bookings and party planning.
  • Organize cars, drivers, and security as requested.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
  • Carry out word processing, filing, and computer-based administration tasks.
  • Perform other reasonable requests as instructed by Management.
  • Ensure a professional approach when interacting with clients, colleagues, and external providers.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all visitors and callers.
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, particularly regarding health and safety.

Requirements:

  • Previous office administration experience.
  • Previous experience processing invoices and dealing with stock control.
  • Strong IT skills, including high competency with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the internet.
  • Strong numerical skills.
