Role Overview:

Senior Finance Business Partner - Service Operations

This is a key role within the Currys organization, responsible for providing financial guidance and support to the Director of Service Operations. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial management and be able to analyze complex business data to inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering with the Director of Service Operations to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Managing and communicating financial performance updates to the Director of Service Operations and their Senior Leadership Team.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve business outcomes and developing business cases to support investment decisions.
  • Leading and supporting the offshore accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Ensuring the Service Operations period pack accurately communicates the performance of the business unit.

Requirements:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyze complex business data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex messages.
  • Outcome-focused with a track record of delivering end-to-end solutions.
  • Strong resilience and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
  • Proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Robust organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong financial modeling and system skills.
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Recognized accountancy qualification.
